Ahmedabad : Mumbai Indians held their hopes alive with a victory of 25 runs against Rajasthan Royals.Michael Hussey,56(39),Simmons,62(51) & Rohit Sharma's 40(19) had led Mumbai Indians to 178/3 in 20 overs earlier.RR could only manage to score 158/8 from 20 overs, revolving around the spin storm made by Mumbai.
Karun Nair,48(24) at first & Hodge,40(30) & Falukner,30(21)* at the end tried desperately for their victory, but no one gave them support.
Mumbai spinners, P.Ojha,Harbhajan Singh & Shreyas Gopal did well with ball, picking up 2 wickets each, conceding a few runs.Pollard's catch for dismissing Cooper was highlighted.
Michael Hussey was named Man of the Match for his well made half century. This is Mumbai's 4th victory in Ipl 7.
